Faringdon Lodge, Abingdon School

The new Faringdon Lodge building acts as an entrance gateway to Abingdon School, welcoming those who arrive and helping to establish the identity of the School and the values it represents.

The distinctive red bricks are used to connect the building to both the historic architecture of Abingdon School, and the contemporary Yang Science Centre adjacent. Beautiful green glazed bricks are used around the reception area adding contrast and a feeling of quality at the site entrance.

This was David Morley Architects second project for Abingdon School having previously completed Beech Court, containing the Sixth Form Centre, Library and Art Department, in 2018.
